S Mesh and LX Mesh use thinner threads and achieve a higher percentage of open area. This allows ink to pass through the screen easily with less squeegee pressure for more opaque base plates or overprints, and a softer hand. S Mesh and LX Mesh maintain all of the registration quality that Smartmesh is known for.
S Mesh is a Polyester Mesh stretched to optimum print tension levels. They can be used to solve many print issues:
Brighter more opaque base plates
Less squeegee pressure to preserve halftones.
Better ink deposits for discharge, water base and high solid acrylic inks.
LX Mesh is different. It consists of a polyester core with a softer nylon outer layer. This allows highly viscous inks like white plastisol to print with ease.
